In society today, we are all increasingly aware of the dangers of
everyday accidents in the home, especially with our children and older
family members.

The Cormac Trust have worked together with our qualified and accredited
First Aid Instructors to create practical First Aid Courses which are designed
specifically to educate and equip those of us who are concerned with these issues,
to be able to deal with such emergencies and with quick intervention, hopefully
prevent serious injury or illness and possibly save a life.

CPR & Choking
2 Hour course – (discussing swallowed objects)

• What to do if an adult, child or infant
  collapses or starts to choke
• A hands-on course for up to 12 people
• Includes the recognition of cardiac arrest,
• Chest compressions & ventilation
• Recovery position and recognition
• Treatment of choking

Plus Medical Conditions
3 Hour course – (including short break)
Awareness discussion on below topics &
advice on what to do if you recognise symptoms-

• Asthma
• Croup
• Meningitis
• Anaphylaxis

• Infantile Convulsions
